Stargate Atlantis: Kawaan
This is a video from the Artist Formerly Known as footinsink...you may remember my videos "What About Everything," White Flag," "Fix You" and "Shimmer." Well, I am back. In this video I use a Punjabi song titled "Kawaan" which means "raven." I have had this video on my hard drive for about a year, and never finished it. It's a John/Teyla video, but I wasn't approaching it from a "shippy" angle. I'm not sure what to make of it, really. It was good practice for me as an editor, but there really is no "story." Watch it and let me know what you think.

Stargate Atlantis: What About Everything?
Just curious as to which one is supposed to be Aristotle and which one is Averroes. I looked them up on Wikipedia, and both had so many disciplines that either way could work.
Haven't heard this son in forever! I'm pretty sure I owned it once but can't find it now. So bought it again.
2024 and it's still good.
This has been one of my favorite videos ever and I come back to it every once in a while. I wish I could see an updated version with like better quality.
I love coming back to this fanvid.
2020 and still loving it. Thank you!
This is so beautiful. It feels like it captures a lot of what Rodney feels way deep down - the song and the visuals complement each other perfectly!
Great video!
1:27-1:30 what episode?
i know 4 years too late but it's season 1 episode 15 before i sleep
2019, still love this video!
January 2019 and it's still an amazing tribute to my two favorite characters! I completely saw that they were something between friends and brothers, just like in the show. Incredible editing skills and a perfect song to a perfect pair. Keep up the good work!
My friend says this is our friendship song- it’s been a constant in our lives for years. Thank you for making this video xx

I'm still listening to this in 2018! Kareem Salama is my favorite singer:)

This video just about sums up the relationship between Shepard and McKay. Love it to pieces!
I love them so much
I love how these two play off each other, and your video captured that perfectly!
Like if you're still watching this in 2016
Watching 10 years after and still love it :-)
Still watching it in 2017 :D
Patrick Kennedy I enjoyed the music with the video. Always liked Stargate Atlantis. ☺
Still watching in 2018
Just found this in 2019.

This is beautiful. Captures their friendship so well. Just beautiful.
Too sweet, can't cope!
Amazing video! It really shows the awesome friendship between 2 of my 3 favorite characters (the third being Carson). And a brilliant song! I'm off to find out more about the artist, he has a lovely voice.
u can edit ur title and u dont need to make it meow cause mrow is what cats say they dont say me-ow they say mro-w
This was simply beautiful, and full of warmth, and it lit up my morning today :) Thank you for making and sharing this, and I hope things are better with you now.
This puts such a huge smile on my face. Perfect song choice and just a delight to watch.
Your knowledge of the episodes is simply astounding. "I wish I was much more masculine" is just hilarious and probably the only scene in the series you could do it with X3
It's been years since I first saw this and I'm still just as amazed and impressed and deeply in love with it and Atlantis as back then. Thank you! (And I hope things get better for you as well <3)
Patrick Kennedy aw, thank you.
I've been going through such a rough time right now but reading these comments year after year warms my heart. Thank you all, especially the comments I never got around to reply to!
thank you!

Amazing video! Great job!
SURA VII AYATT 31 "O Children of Adam, Wear YOUR BEST APPARREL anytime, anyplace of prayer....."
Good job.
goood video
<3
I can't believe it's been another two... Still just as good.
5 years later, and i'm still in love with this song!
Maasha'Allah!
This is the place I first found this song - and I can't ever thank you enoygh. It's amazing and paired up with this video you made - it's even better! So thank you.
I love the video! Great Work! :)
@jmjs001 At 1:47 : The Eye (Season 1, ep 11)
Awesome vid! I came here as an SGA fan, and left as a Kareem Salama's fan. That's what I like about this fandom: finding new interests and quality content. Coming back to the vid: it really captures some of the best of Sheppard / McKay friendship bits, not to mention the utterly thorough (and beautiful) match with the lyrics. Kudos and thx for a great experience :)
@KaseytheJudge Aah, it's by Kareem Salama I think! I knew that voice sounds familiar.
@Oo786oO I'm afraid I don't know :p
@Oo786oO Yes. He was called Averroes in European Literature.
